Coastal Mechanical Services

In February 2007, BWDB's board of directors recognized Coastal Mechanical Services (CMS) for outstanding community support in a variety of ways. Sue Holland, Human Resources Manager, accepted the award presented to CMS for their continued support of Brevard Job Link' Project CRAFT, a grant awarded to assist at-risk youth in learning a trade skill in the construction industry, by providing tours for students and on-the-job training for two of the participants.

CMS also provided Brevard Job Link with data for Labor Market Surveys and most recently assisted in providing information for Florida reBUILDS grant research, a grant to assist construction companies in preparing employees with much needed training. CMS is always ready to participate in new workforce initiatives, working with the Profiles Job Fit program and using Brevard Job Link (BJL) for their recruitment activities including job postings.
