David Clark, President for EMF, Inc. proudly accepted the recognition award from Brevard Job Link Business Services Representative Sandy Gillespie at the August 2006 board meeting.

In presenting the award, Gillespie stated that, “EMF is committed to their workforce, and to continuing to offer competitive wages and benefits, which along with a nice work environment, has led to a very stable workforce.”

EMF, Inc. was founded in 1964 with a staff of two when in 1989, David Clark, who had a background in the military and aerospace industry, acquired the business. By this time the staff that had grown to four. Since then, the organization has continued to grow into a commercial shop employing 55, with many having been with the company practically from the start.

The company posts all job openings with BJL and was awarded a matching Employed Worker Training grant in order to upgrade employee skills as they become an AS9100 certified company. The certification will allow EMF, Inc. to grow as they support the military/aerospace industry in Brevard.
