"Eddy Gass is a favorite customer among Brevard Job Link's Titusville staff," explains BJL Career Coach Ken Flieder.

An electronic technician by trade, Gass holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Barry University and an Associate of Science degree in Electronics Technology from Pensacola Junior College.

Gass arrived at Brevard Job Link - Titusville back in June 2005 after a lay off from an aerospace company at Kennedy Space Center.

Stated Gass, "My main Career Coach, Ken Flieder mentored and encouraged me every step of the way. He helped give me the confidence to know that I do possess valuable skills to offer to an employer."

Through access to a wide array of Brevard Job Link services, Gass was able to prepare for and land a new position with Bulova Technologies. In fact, the Business Services team even conducted a mock interview to further prepare him.

Gass hopes to one day re-enter the aerospace field or advance into the commercial arena. He is also planning to continue his education.

When asked how Brevard Job Link helped him, Gass explained, "Brevard Job Link was like a triage unit after the shock of becoming unemployed. I needed more than job referrals, I needed career restructuring. I learned a great deal about myself, about employer's expectations and about how to effectively navigate my way through the job-hunting process."
